Our contemporary styled, one bedroom cottage with spectacular,
world class ocean view has all the 'mod cons' and luxuries you could
possibly want in an ‘indulgent seaside retreat, and more…
…Romantic wood fire, three corner spa, separate shower, reverse-cycle
air conditioner, (to warm you when you don’t feel like chopping wood),
fully equipped SS kitchen, large screen LCD TV, DVD, CD, full laundry
facilities, games and books, BBQ and deck overlooking the ocean.
In fact everything you’d expect to ensure a most enjoyable and
memorable stay.
Although built very recently, it has just
undergone a total makeover producing a very cosy seaside cottage
with a ‘chic and sexy’ style while still reflecting its
close connection to the sea.
The standard has been kept high and ‘on par’ with
our original, ‘flagship’ cottage, 'Aireys Overboard', which
has been in 'Home Beautiful' magazine,'52 Good
Weekends Away 2007', Good Weekends Away and has
been featured in the Age Newspaper, Beautiful
Accommodation Books.
We are confident that in time, ‘Anglesea
Overboard’ will also be featured in like publications.

Although
it currently has just one large bedroom, it comfortably accommodates
a Port-a-cot.
We plan to extend with another bedroom in the near future, so stay tuned.
The
cottage is fully fenced and just 350m from a ‘pet friendly
beach’, so we are happy to accept a dog or two, but we do like
to discuss it first.
It is located in a ‘Blue Chip’ area of Point Roadknight. It’s on
O’Donohues Road, next door to what was ‘Heathlands
Tea rooms and Gallery’, well away from the ‘hustle and bustle’,
yet handy to all that Anglesea, Pt. Roadknight and the Great Ocean Road
have to offer.
So if you like the idea of snuggling up in front of a
romantic wood fire on a special winters nights or laze away on the veranda
just gazing out to sea while the barbeque sizzles with your favourite
fare, we strongly advise you to secure your special dates in advance
to avoid disappointment.

LOCATION
Anglesea is at the true gateway to the Great Ocean Road, where the
ocean meets the road. It’s the first real ‘Port-o-call’ town
among many other ‘treasures’ along the world famous Great
Ocean Road as it winds its way along our rugged Bass Strait coastline.
Anglesea is just 110km south-west of Melbourne, about 80 minutes from
the Westgate bridge, and is bound by the ocean on one side and the
Otway Ranges on the other, which includes the Lorne-Angahook State
Park.
